About Japanese Mint Essential Oil

Japanese Mint is very similar to Peppermint essential oil, and is popular for its use on sore, tired, overworked muscles. It can help promote circulation, relieve aches and pains, sprains and strains, reduce inflammation, headaches, migraines, arthritis and sore, achey feet.

It can also help aid digestion issues such as gas, nausea, diarrhea and indigestion. It can also help relieve sinus congestion and open the airways during times of sickness.

Japanese Mint essential oil is non-toxic and non-irritating, though it maybe sensitizing due to its high menthol content which can cause irritation to the skin and mucous membranes. Do not apply Japanese Mint essential oil on or near the face of young children or infants. Japanese Mint essential oil can counteract homeopathic remedies. Do not ingest Japanese Mint essential oil internally.Dilute for topical use.
